CFC - Paterson, NJ:  Formerly the St. John Divine Church of the Cross was founded in 1971 by the late Rev. John Jackson. Membership at the time included Rev. Jackson, his wife, Rachel their children, Deacon Henry Robinson and Sister Jefferson. In due time, the Lord added to the small congregation Sister Patricia McKenzie (Clark), Mother Itlene McKenzie and Sister Lutiel Brown.

These faithful members encouraged others in their family to become members and began working in the church, forming and building auxiliaries and committees such as the Mothers' Board, the Usher Board, the Prayer Band and the choir.

Later, Rev. Jackson became ill. The Rev. Benson assumed pastoral responsibilities and at the conclusion of the year, Deacon Robinson was appointed Pastor and the church's name was changed to the St. John Divine Missionary Baptist Church (St. John).

Throughout the years, the church was nourished by the fervent, effectual prayers of the founding members. They knew that God had a vision for St. John and they wanted to see that vision fulfilled.

Meanwhile, in 1980, at Kean College of Union, New Jersey, a group of students desired to form a campus ministry that would meet their spiritual needs while they were away from their several church homes. These students were Stephanie Boyd, Eddie Cannon, Cathy Alexander, Gerald Massenburg, Hilda Beasley, the late Jerome Lee, Christopher Cottle, Renee Walker (Troublefield) and Rev. Joel D. Rudolph. Rev. Rudolph was chosen to serve as the presiding minister for what was then called Interfaith Campus Ministries. In 1982, this small fellowship became an established church organization, which functioned on four college campuses (Upsala College, Kean College, Fairleigh Dickinson University-Rutherford and Seton Hall University)

In 1982, Pastor Joel Rudolph was asked to speak at St. John. From that time, a bond was formed between the two churches. In 1984, as the Lord began to unfold His vision, Pastor Rudolph was named interim Pastor of St. John. A year later, he accepted the pastoral position. As the years followed, the Lord began to develop His vision in the uniting of the two churches.

Through the Holy Spirit leading Pastor Rudolph, Interfaith Campus Ministries and St. John Divine Missionary Baptist Church became united as the Christian Fellowship Center and Outreach Ministries in 1988.

We are blessed to be a part of this mighty and miraculous move of God to form a close knit, functioning body of believers called to minister to the city of Paterson, New Jersey and the world. The Pastoral staff, leadership and members of Christian Fellowship Center understand that it takes much prayer, faith and obedience to see the fullness of God's vision manifested in our midst.

CFC - Cleveland, Tennessee

The Christian Fellowship Center of Cleveland, Tennessee began in 1981 as a small group of members who went from house to house holding Bible studies. These Bible studies were led by Rev. Robert Vernon. The Lord began to draw more and more people to these services, which were called "The Whole Truth Bible Study".

The members were blessed with a building in 1983. In October of 1984, the Lord spoke to Rev. Vernon to leave the Church of God organization and become a Word Church.

In November of 1985, after much prayer and fasting, the Lord released Rev. Vernon and gave him the vision of the Voice of Believers Full Gospel Church. In 1987, after the Lord had called Rev. Vernon home, Rev. Wayne Morris became the pastor and Rev. Martha Tibbs became the assistant pastor. The Lord continued to bless the church.

In 1992, the Lord called Pastor Wayne to a prophetic ministry and Pastor Joel D. Rudolph, Sr., who became the Apostle of the Voice of Believers Church, installed Rev. Timothy Purifory as Interim Pastor.

In December 1997, the Lord revealed to Pastor Rudolph that he was the "set man" for the Voice of Believers Church and gave him a vision for the ministry. On March 24, 1998, the Voice of Believers Full Gospel Church became the Christian Fellowship Center and Outreach Ministries of Cleveland.
