| Our Worship Experience
At the Christian
Fellowship Center, our worship is focused on Christ as the object of our love and
devotion. Free worship and praise of God is practiced and encouraged. Here are some
"Whys" of worship at CFC:
WHY
WE STAND TO SING...
"Then
some Levites ... STOOD UP and praised the Lord, the God
of Israel, with very loud voice." (2 Chron. 20:19)
"...after
this, I looked and there before me was a great multitude that
no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language,
STANDING before the throne and in front of the Lamb.
They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches
in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation
belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.
" (Rev. 7: 9: 10)
WHY
WE LIFT OUR HANDS...
"I
will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will LIFT

WHY
WE SING CHORUSES AS WELL AS HYMNS...
"Do
not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be
filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with PSALMS,
HYMNS, and SPIRITUAL SONGS. Sing and make music in
your heart to the Lord." (Eph. 5:18,19)
"Let
the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish
one another with all wisdom, and as you sing PSALMS, HYMNS,
and SPIRITUAL SONGS with gratitude in your hearts to
God." (Col. 3:16).
WHY WE USE MUSICAL
INSTRUMENTS...
